{"id":2373,"date":"2017-09-01T05:33:04","date_gmt":"2017-09-01T12:33:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cowlesmountain.com\/Travels\/?p=2373"},"modified":"2017-09-01T05:33:04","modified_gmt":"2017-09-01T12:33:04","slug":"driving-down-to-boothbay-harbor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cowlesmountain.com\/Travels\/2017\/09\/01\/driving-down-to-boothbay-harbor\/","title":{"rendered":"Driving down to BoothBay Harbor."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since it was a short drive to Boothbay, we hit the road right at 11 am, which is most campgrounds&#8217; checkout time. \u00a0 We headed out to find US 1 south that was just a few miles inland of us. \u00a0 It was a surprising drive as right after turning off the main road from Bar Harbor, there was this very nice downtown of Ellsworth, Maine.\u00a0 We hadn&#8217;t been that direction our whole stay as we were just off Mt.
